The path
How it was
A boy who liked to walk alone
As a child he walked and watched. Later he understood what that said about a type of consciousness: he found simply looking interesting. Diligent, hard-working, unquarrelsome, ready to give way. At home he had to help his parents and his brother, who was born with a heart defect.
Fifteen years of his own business
University in Kyiv, marriage, the collapse of the Soviet Union, a job at a relative’s company. At twenty-one nobody wanted to listen to him — so in a month he found the money, opened his own office and called in an acquaintance. That was the start of freedom and independence: fifteen years in thermal insulation and air conditioning, work crews, production, the roles of engineer and director.
Everything is there, and no harmony
A family, two children, a settled life. And the feeling of running on autopilot: summers flat out, too much work, exhaustion. The very question that thousands would later bring to the school was his own first.
India, where he went for nothing spiritual
His partners suggested the trip; at first he refused — «what do I want with India». Then he came across some websites and grew curious. It was there that existential experiences first happened to him, and he came back with one wish: to live differently.
Meditation, practice, a first teacher
OSHO dynamic meditation. A month later, a heart technique from an OSHO student in Kyiv. Then a practice in which he came upon a childhood hurt and transformed it: «when I opened my eyes, I understood that I love all people».
The Satori retreat and the question «who am I»
Seven days without meetings, a headache, thoughts of running away. The second day was easier, and then the supersensible experiences came: leaving the body, vibration, a rupture. «I realise that I am everything.» That was when what people call enlightenment happened.
A different consciousness
After that came the path of knowing, every day outdoors. «That personality was not in me. It is an entirely different consciousness. Boundless love, understanding of everything. Wherever I look, I understand at once.» His wife said he had lost his mind, and left.
A studio, centres, a school
A meditation studio in Kyiv. Many of the techniques they discovered themselves. After two and a half years they handed the centre over to be run by others, because they had become managers more than masters — and left to develop themselves: retreats, seminars. Then a new centre. In 2009, the first retreat centre; in 2018–2019, the school «Person of Spirit».
Covid, Steiner, the war
During Covid they began giving daily guidance, to lead people through what they were living. Rudolf Steiner entered the work in the same period: their own knowledge plus his. Then the war, a move to western Ukraine, then Germany.
In their own words
Look for the one who keeps searching rather than convincing. The one who is new and fresh in their own knowing at every next moment of life. Who has no need of honours and is certain in Knowledge. Better still — become exactly that yourself, leaning on no one else’s knowledge or arguments.
In our age of information overload it is hard to tell where the truth is. Ignorant well-informedness can sound more convincing than a master’s words.

Who he becomes for a student
Father
He has two children of his own, and he holds himself similarly with students. First a person is accepted as they arrived — tired, angry, with their failures. Work on that starts later, once they have something to stand on.
